I've only gotten a wash and style here (that's all I really need) and my ends clipped - on my first visit. I am mixed and I've never really found any one to do my hair without them complaining how long it is or it's too much or whatever. There were no complaints here, although, they do charge extra for really long hair (past middle of back - anyway). After I told her of my scalps condition, the lady that did my hair made sure to use shampoo and conditioner for my dry scalp, and she oiled the dry areas (something no other stylist has done with my hair), as well as other things to keep the frizzys at a minimum. When she was done with the straight style I requested, my hair did not feel as stiff as the other (few) times that I had gotten my hair done. She explained to me that some shampoos cause you hair to become hard after you've dried it and styled it (something I have noticed at home with my other shampoos and some of my conditioners), so whatever it was that she did - she did one of the best jobs with my hair. Since it is expensive (to me, and since I don't really need to go to a salon because I do it myself) to get my hair done, I don't normally get it done. However, she did such a wonderful job, that I decided to go back a couple weeks later to get it done again, and once again, it came out very nice! I don't really know how good the other stylists are because the times that I've been there, I hadn't had to wait very long. I haven't seen anyone get there hair done from start to finish. They do have a barber on the other side of the salon, but there's a divder between the main section, so you can't really see them either, unless they are entering or exiting the salon. For the most part, I think the other stylists do a pretty good job too. I would recommend this salon to anyone with any length hair and any texture hair (especially someone with hair similar to mine - corkscrews when wet, and think no one really understands their hair).**** Pros: Ambiance, Good Service, Great Parking, Professional, Opens on Sundays too - saw it on the Hours pasted on the front door
