Review content:
Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center started off as a wonderful hospital and nursing home. Over the years it has deteriorated. While there are some great staff members there, the majority are not in touch with the patients at all. The patients are treated like babies, and that is when they are treated at all. Patients have been seen sitting in dirty diapers for hours at a time. All in all it probably rates the same as your average nursing home -- which is way below what i would want for a family member.
About a decade ago they built an acute care hospital on their grounds, but there too, the medical care is lacking. Unfortunately many doctors work in both, leaving a lot of place for bad judgment because of conflicting interests.
