it has come to my attention over the past few years that many people. that have access to a computer and have a grudge to bear, use restaurant review sites to let out their unfounded aggression. i have worked and dined in the industry for 20 years, since i was 16 and, i find it uncredible and quite ridiculous that people write such ridiculous biased reviews of places. what about the food? what about the service? what about the cost? what about the atmosphere ...location ...hours ....when you were there ....etc .... i have always found devil's alley to be a fun time with great food, a great price, and great service. actually, almost all places i have dined at in philadelphia i would give 5 stars to, but then again, i am not trying to ne an amateur critic and i do not look for fault in everywhere i eat. please do not heed any revies about ANY restaurant in philadelphia until you have gone there yourself. all these negative revies only give the city and it's establishments a bad name.....not just the ONE that EVERYONE tries to ridicule and bad mouth. by the way, devilo's alley brunch is one of the best in the city, and....oh my god....check this out....you may actually get sat without waiting 45 minutes. beat that without reservations at rittenhouse square, you can't. Pros: cheap for where it is, fast, great beer, outside seating, open balcony upstairs Cons: wish it was less crowded at happy hour.....oh well
