My wife and I went to ben's home brew as a beginner brewers and wine makers. I had very little knowledge of brewing and was looking for assistance. I could not believe that we were actually helped by BEN! He was so knowledgeable about his products and even produces his own line of Beer Kits. He knew every answer to the 100's of questions we fired off at him.
This guy knows his beer and wine. He is the owner and he takes care of you. It is such a different experience than some of the stores out there who just higher young kids who don't know anything about brewing or have the same passion that Ben has. We found out about him on city search and have really found his "How To Videos" helpful as well.
We prefer to buy local and support local business. That is exactly what Ben's Home Brew is. We are now life time customers. (Especially now that we can make wine for less than $2 a bottle!)
Pros: Talk right to the owner. He knows his products. Great place for Beginner to Advance brewers. Right off RT 28
Cons: Not open on Sundays or Mondays.
