Green Room! The Green Room is a wonderful dive on Broad Street in Durham. The place is old, with the floor peeling up and walls that have probably never been wiped down. That said, it is a great place to hang out with friends. This is one of the most integrated (Duke-Durham, locals-students-non-locals, Hispanic-black-white) places I've been to in Durham. The pool tables are authentic and well maintained. The shuffleboard table in the center of the bar is one of the best I've ever seen. The dart boards in the back aren't in the best shape, but they're free. Same with the foosball table. The bartender is always super friendly, and you can get PBR for $1.50. Sometimes they have a keg and you can get a draft for $2. The jukebox has an amazing selection as well.
