Review content:
Like most people, I hate nursing homes. Both of my grandmothers had to live in nursing homes the last years of their lives. It is my fear that I'll have to live in one, too; however, if I ever do, I would probably choose the Oaks. A young friend of ours recently had to stay at the Oaks for several months after having emergency surgery which nearly killed him. When we went to visit him, there was no nursing home odor permeating the halls and he seemed to be happy with the care he received there. Also, it was voted the Best Nursing Home Assisted Living facility in Highlands County.
