My uncle loves to eat here because he is a health food nut and macrobiotic. He introduced me to OWT years ago, when I was most certainly not a health food nut (ya know, when you're in your 20s and you can live forever on cigs, coffee and beer :). I eat here about once a year, and bring the kiddos. It's a good place for them for the playroom, so I can eat and enjoy my meal and converse with my adult companions. The service seems to have declined over the years. I've noticed that the popularity of this place seems to be on the wane, but maybe that's just the times I've gone. It's been almost empty. Good food though, and healthy. I like the coffee, which is usually unheard of in a breakfast food place. I like the variety, and I like knowing what kind of food I'm putting in my mouth (at times). Sometimes I get so, well, tired of keeping up with the healthy food rat race. Sometimes I just need greasy eats, which, surprisingly, I can get here (minus a little more grease). Eggs, bacon, etc. Good stuff. And I dig the oatmeal. Pretty creative with their food, the prices reflect this. It's ok for a healthy food place and a good place to take kids so they can eat healthy too (better than BK for breakfast!). For comparison's sake, if you've ever eaten at Julia's or the 14 Carrot Cafes in Seattle (any of them), OWT is just like that food.
