Review content:
My husband and I spend our anniversary every year at a different hotel in the Pittsburgh Downtown area. This time our stay was at the Doubletree. At first, we were disappointed by the parking situation which was only valet ($18) but that did not put a damper on our weekend. This hotel was swank! The front desk was polite and of course didn't forget our warm cookies upon check-in. We booked a king room but was pleasantly surprised to open the door to a king suite! The room was gorgeous although the view was bad. We were booked under the Romance Package which included: king room, late check out, champagne, chocolate covered strawberries and room service. We even took part in a massage at the Golden Spoon Spa that is located right in the hotel. Great night sleep-very quite. We didn't hear the maids cleaning the other rooms. The only issue we had was at check-out our bill was wrong and it didn't seem that anyone knew how to fix it. Highly Recommened!!!! Pros: Swanky, comfortable and quite rooms, very polite staff Cons: Expensive valet parking
