Review content:
After years of living near the area, I decided to check it out for the first time because I heard so much about it. They serve up traditional German/Austrian cuisine, have a cozy, charming decor with stained glass windows, a fireplace and an old world feel. The servers are wearing authentic costumes, and some nights you'll get to enjoy the house band featuring fun and comical musicians, which really adds a nice feel to the evening. The food is very good and the people who work here are friendly and seem to enjoy what they do. Free parking, Irving Park bus stops at the door. On certain Holidays, they feature American menu items as well as the traditional German cuisine. We went here for their Thanksgiving dinner and the food, music and service were wonderful!
