Our family of 7 were happy customers of approx. a year and a half but definitely won't be back after our last visit!
My kiddos desperately needed haircuts but our infant daughter wasn't feeling well. Because of this, I sent my teen in with the 4 younger kids (ages 5, 8, 8, & 9). Apparently they raised their prices as kids haircuts used to be $7.95 with my teen being slightly more. The total that day somehow came to $53 and my teen told them to keep what's left (as a tip) of the $60 I sent with her. The stylists were incredibly rude to her saying that I should have sent a bigger tip for 5 kids and that I was pretty rude!!! :O I had no clue what the total was or tip she gave them until she came out nearly in tears about how they had 'yelled' at her. At that point, I certainly was not going to send additional funds in. :( On top of that, 2 of the kids said the lady cutting their hair was mean (not sure exactly what happened here) and 2 came away with HORRIBLE haircuts right before our Disney World vacation. Our 5 year old sons hair was sticking up the entire time we were away and no amount of combing would keep it down. Another son had bald spots from the electric razor in several spots on the back of his head.
I would NOT recommend this Fantastic Sam's!
