Review content:
Tonight we decided to try Bella Napoli for Valentines Day. We had never been there before and read the good reviews here, which must have been written by the owners, so we were really looking forward to eating there. The resturant has a nice atmosphere but you have to walk through the smoking section to get to the main eating area. We left smelling like smoke. Let me first say that my wife and I almost never complain about our eating experiences and I have never before written a negative review--or any review for that matter. So here we go. The wait staff immediately sat us at a table next to the smoking area, even though there were still plenty of empty tables at that point. My wife is pregnant, so they graciously moved us after we requested to be moved. The waiter took our order but then that was the last time our waiter--or anyone--came by for the next hour. The two entrees we had ordered left much to be desired. My wife ordered the pork tenderlion medallions, but what she got was not what was described on the menu. It was one big loaf of uncooked pork fat. It was literally raw. I had ordered the cannelloni, which tasted like a microwaved burrito that had been emptied out and stuffed with spinach dip and then covered with cheese that had obviously been freezerburned. It wasn't pasta tubes--it was like a burrito. I hate to sound so harsh, but the food was truly horrible. The waiter, after my wife had to stick her arm above her head and wave him down, was nice enough to take the pork entree off the bill. I understand that other wait staff may not have been as bad as the waiter we had and I know that it was probably busier since it was Valentines Day, but it's not that hard to stop by the table and ask how things are or refill the water at least once. If he had stopped by at some point during the meal, my wife would have had time to order another meal. In the end we will never eat here again and never reccommend this place to anyone, except as a place to avoid.
Pros: Decent music
Cons: Service and food
