Businiess name:  Cold Stone Creamery
Review by:  Michele S.
Review content:
When I lived in Florida, there was a pizza place called CiCi's. My son loved going there because when you walked in the door, it was like a contest to see which one of the employees could greet you the loudest. "HI, WELCOME TO CICI'S" was shouted by half a dozen workers. The Cold Stone Creamery here in Cedar Rapids reminds me of the place. Not only the greeting is enthusiastic, when you put a tip in their jar, you get a song. It's lively and fun. So now that the environment is established, let's talk about the ice cream. Divine. The "Creamery" part of the name says it all. The flavors are unique, the taste sensational. The down side of all this? The cost. My husband, son and I went for ice cream one night. We had gone out to dinner and decided to top off the night with an ice cream. It cost more for the ice cream than it did for dinner! We didn't go totally overboard, we got flavors and toppings that were displayed on their walls. We enjoyed our ice cream immensely and decided that Cold Stone would be a very rare treat for us. It does give us something to look forward to, though since we don't go but once or twice a year. It's worth trying, just be advised that it won't be cheap.
