I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!
I always have! I remember (back in the day) when it was just a take out restaurant with a counter to place your order.
We would ALWAYS go there for our cones and run to Red Arrow Park to play! THAT is a GREAT Manitowoc memory!
And I guess that is why Late's is one of my all time favorite places to go.
We visit this restaurant every time we are back in town.
Now it's more than just a pick up window. It's a cozy diner. Your basic run of the mill "greasy spoon" and we adore it.
Lots to pick from on the menu - but our standard is the cheeseburger and cheese curds. THE BEST CHEESE CURDS IN THE WORLD. Honestly!
My sister just left for the Peace Corps and wanted her "last American Meal" to be Late's! Where else can you get those curds? No WHERE!!!!!!!
We love you Late's! I'd give you a billion stars if I could!
