Review content:
Why go to the cheesy, questionable places with the champagne hot tub when you can come to a clean, newer hotel with a nice swimming pool, at a much more reasonable price? The days of those famed Pocono resorts are over (if you need evidence, check out my review of the Fernwood resort...I will never go there again). We stayed here during a recent visit with my fiance's brother's family. The Hampton Inn was clean, with a comfortable bed and nice continental breakfast. There was great shopping and restaurants within walking distance on Stroudsburg's main drag. If you are coming to the Poconos, places like this Hampton Inn are a much better bet than the old resorts.
