After three appointments here, I'd had enough. The first time I went here I had some highlights done by the owner, which were OK, but I had a good experience, she was very nice, told great stories, and gave me a glass of wine. A month and a half later I went to have them touched up and unfortunately the owner was on vacation. I had to use someone else, so I went with the next on the chain of command. She was also very nice, we chatted the whole time, but I ended up with very wide stripes for highlights. I said something to her, but agreed to call her in a few days if I still felt that my hair was just wrong. Well needless to say I still felt the same way, and called for another appointment - this time with three friends for various services of their own. One friend had to wait 45min after her scheduled appointment because her stylist was running behind - and she was getting color which already takes a long time. Another friend was getting a cut, asked for layers, and received a sharp, straight cut. She asked the stylist if she could put some "more" layers in, and she told her that the straight cut looked better on Asians, (what?!?) but rolled her eyes and agreed to cut in some layers. (what?!?) The last friend scheduled a pedicure & a facial. She was annoyed about the facial and said that nothing happened. This facial was a series of warm washclothes placed over her face. That was it. Nothing more. Lame. She said the pedicure was not bad or good, so the best score so far is mediocre. I was not exactly pleased either. I figured since the "highlights" turned out to be large stripes that maybe some lowlights were an order to break it up. The problem of huge highlights was solved by adding even more highlights in a different dirrection. Now she didn't charge me for this last fix it appointment, but maybe I should have charged.
