Businiess name:  Gretna Farmer's Market
Review by:  Olivera J.
Review content:
Gretna's Farmers Market is not large, but I always end up with a bunch of stuff ;-) Last week's haul included half a flat of fresh Ponchatoula strawberries, fresh squid, unbelievable Chorizo and Italian Sausage, radishes, a basket of English Peas, flowers, real milk, real cream and Creole Cream Cheese.... well, you get the picture. You can count on a great selection of fruits and vegetables as well as cut flowers, potted orchids, preserves of any kind, honey, smoked brisket, gumbo, home made desserts, milk, cream, cheese, yogurt and so much more. What a shame it is only held on Saturday mornings! Music and food available. Free admission. 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
