Businiess name:  Coda

It doesn't help that it's hard to find Coda at night (the place is painted black and there are no neon signs). But once you do, you will find a place that is sophisticatedly dim and sensual. Dj's play groovy tunes in the background while late 20 and 30 somethings enjoy a sheik ambiance, friendly staff and stiff drinks. There's a cover on the weekends but get there before 10 and it's free. It's the perfect place if you live in the Valley and don't want to hassle with the overpretentious hollywood crowd. Pros: Good vibe, fun, local bar Cons: Cover After 10
