Review content:
I've seen this place on the Food Network and thought I would try it. It's in a strip mall, I saw Bobby Flay's picture in the window and knew this was the place. It looks like a fast food place, when we walked in the staff greeted us. We asked our server, a cute Japanese girl, what she recommended that we order. She gave us some suggestions and we ordered what we had seen on TV: spicy tuna roll and ono. We added a spicy shrimp roll, tuna sushi, yellowtail sushi, and miso soup. It seemed strange to order nigiri sushi in a fast food looking place, but everything that we had was very good. We did see Phillip from the Food TV show, he was pretty funny when he was talking to the people seated at the sushi bar. He asked us if everything was good and suggested that we try an order of live shrimp. We tried it and it was very good. He told us that next time we need to sit at the sushi bar and he will serve us. We will come back again, the server told us that the chicken teriyaki is very popular too. Pros: parking, nigiri selection, funny guy Cons: parking lot gets full
