Salt Lake Community College is a great place to get your generals done, but I don't recommend them for anything other than that. In my experience, some of the "professors" shouldn't even have a high school degree with the way they teach and give tests. I would definitely get recommendations from friends or classmates about a teacher before taking their class because some of them can really bring your grades down just because they don't know what they are doing! For example, a couple professors were giving tests on the old college book and a new one had come out. They were too lazy to update their test so we had to suffer getting a poor score because some of the questions were not even in our manual! Having said that, there are also some very good professors, too. There are many campuses to choose from around the Salt Lake Valley.
