Review content:
I'm not sure what it is like to fly in and out of this airport, but I do know my kids love the place! It is one of the only airports I know of that you can park in the parking lot and watch planes come and go with only a wire fence between you and the runway. There is also an Air force base located there so sometimes you can watch the really big C-130's practice. There is also the Flying Turtle which is a restaurant with a nice bar. The first and only restaurant I have seen with a parking lot for planes. You can also walk around in the terminal, which displays some history of the airport, and offers big windows you can watch out of as well as some vending machines and bathrooms. It's a fun place to go if you just want to go and sit quietly for awhile, or let the kids wander around and watch some planes.
