Overall the bridal shop did a very good job. My dress and the girls bridesmaid dressing arrived in a reasonable amount of time. However, my veil did not come in till the week of the wedding. I ordered it in July and was told it would ship to the store in a few weeks. While it was not McDaniel's fault the company I ordered it from didn't ship it when they said they would, I thought the staff handled the situation poorly and caused me unneeded stress. I could never get them to give me a straight answer on what was going on and when exactly was my veil going to ship. Every time I talked to them I got something different. I was told it had shipped then it turned out it hadn't. Know maybe that's what the company is Canada was telling them. All I know is I didn't see any real results until I tried to call the company in Canada directly. They couldn't tell me anything because I didn't have the order number. But sure enough later that day McDaniel's called me saying the place in Canada told them I called and that my veil was being overnighted to me. They were nice and let me borrow a veil for my hair trials but it wasn't the same. Since mine was custom made they didn't have any in stock like it. But at least I halfway got an idea and at least my veil did arrive before the wedding. Oh, and I wasn't too impresses with their alterations department. I had strings hanging off the bottom of my dress that they were supposed to cut and didn't.
