Review content:
My husband bought me a gift certificate for half-day body treatment a few days before our wedding. I got a massage, a facial, and I got to take nap in this amazing waterbed contraption where you are surrounded by warm water. So amazing. I loved it all, until I went to leave, and they asked for $60. I had already tipped the girls who worked with me, so I knew I shouldn't have to pay any more.
Turns out, when I booked and told them what the gift certificate was for, they added in an extra service. I got a better facial than I was supposed to, I think. I protested, and told them that I had asked for exactly what was on the card, and they dropped the charge. But I worry that this might be a common scam to get mroe money from gift cards.
So, if you go, enjoy it, but make sure you get what you pay for, and only what you pay for!
