Review content:
Just like most of the places on Delmar, Brandt's is a live music venue. Beware that on Fridays or Saturdays your quiet dinner might be punctuated with jazz or a small band. Its great, but hard to talk over. The food however is great. They have vegetarian dishes (wow, what a concept), and great specials. I had a wonderful vegetable strussel type dish (it was like a fresh veggie pot pie with no cream sauce or anything to muck up the flavours) with asparagus and portabello mushrooms on the side and it was the best special I think I've had. They have okay pasta, and even gyros and black bean chili. My husband has had a great gyro and a few of their pasta dishes.
