Businiess name:  Toby's Taxidermy
Review by:  April H.
Review content:
I have seen many taxidermist's work, and Toby Lightsey is by far the best I've seen in this state (and better than others out of state I have viewed). In my opinion, he is a master at painting largemouth bass. He can even take a sloppy job from one taxidermist, and fix it for you, making it look like he was the only one who ever touched it. There is one on my wall right now, 16 years old it is, and still looks like it came fresh out of the water. His work holds up over the years, and I bet that fish lasts another 16 years before it may need a touch up. He has also done some of our deer and a few other bass as well. He did a superb first rate job on these as well. He will get done what you want done. But, he will do it better than you can imagine. When you see his work, you will know that he is an artist. He is not that much more pricey than any other taxidermists in the area, but, in my opinion, he doesn't charge enough for what he can do. A very nice man as well, down to earth, and kind. IMO, he is the best Alabama has to offer, as far as taxidermists. He is just great at what he does.
