Businiess name:  Northwest Crafter's cottage
Review by:  Roger K.
Review content:
check out my review for the Northwest crafter's cottage on Whidbey island. It was a great place to have a romantic weekend getaway, though the cottage can sleep more than 2 fairly comfortably thanks to the separate sleeping studio. We spent our time curled up on the couch watching the winter Olympics while drinking beer from the Diamond Knot brewery, hot-tubbing while enjoying the view of the water, and using the cottage as our base of operations for the rest of the weekend activities. Here are some quick bullet-points of what we liked about the place. -close to the town of Freeland -very private -great view of the water from the deck -very nice hot tub with it's own view of the water -cozy, warm, distinctive -filled with Northwest crafts from island residents -reasonably prices (~$130/night if I recall correctly) -reservation and check-in process was smooth and easy. As for what we didn't care for, I can't think of anything offhand other than that while it was dog-friendly, the deck/patio was not gated in any way. After a while, we just made some roadblocks with the patio furniture, and that worked fine for our purposes. Also, one can find cottages right on the beach for similar prices if that's your thing. I highly recommend the cottage as a great place for a weekend getaway with family, pets included!
