Review content:
I took my little girl for pictures every month during her first year to chronicle her growth. More often than not, we visited the JCPenney Portrait Studio in Stoneridge Mall, and I was rarely disappointed with the outcome. I had at least 3 or 4 good pictures from each sitting, and the photographers were generally flexible and worked well with my daughter. Occasionally we encountered an employee who was young and inexperienced, and more difficult to work with, but this wasn't the norm. The studio is clean and reasonably well-organized. As long as you go on a weekday, there usually isn't a wait - holiday times can be an exception to this general rule. Weekends are much busier and you can expect to wait. Although they take walk-ins, I strongly suggest making an appointment in advance. Photos are of good quality and are available within 7 to 10 days of your sitting. There are almost always coupons for photo sheets for $4 or $5 each available on their website, making the sheets a great deal. I'm giving them just 4 stars because I did have one negative experience last fall, caused by printing issues at the photo lab and not this particular studio. Recommended!
