Review content:
Apparently, Zoe's is meant to provide diet-friendly food in a modern, upscale atmosphere. Their menu was pretty lacking to me - another reviewer mentioned that the majority of the food was vegetarian, but I disagree. EVERYTHING had chicken or chicken broth in it! There were few options for us veggies other than some kind of slaw and the usual salad options.
While I think that the world needs more restaurants serving diet fare, I'm not sure Zoe's is the kind of restaurant that can offer it. Their menu is boring and bland - the thing that turns people away from diet food!
The employees we saw were two younger girls who seemed more content to discuss their boy troubles than bring our food out - we counted, and it sat on the bar for nearly 10 minutes before they finally brought it out.
I gave Zoe's two stars because my salad was fresh, but the service and overall experience were lacking.
