Petsmart is one of the few petstores in Huntsville, and it is nicer than most. You can bring pets in (leashed), and they offer a wide variety of supplies for cats, dogs, fish, small animals/reptiles. Their dog and cat food selection isn't bad, but you won't find ultra premium brands like Canidae, Eagle Pack, Innova, etc, only more run of the mill varieties like Bil-Jac, Science Diet, Nutro, Purina Pro Plan and One, among others. This in itself is disappointing. Their prices are high, but they do match their online store, which can result in some pretty hefty savings (plus save you on some shipping costs). Their staff is mostly helpful, but they are not trained to give you good advice but to sell products, so keep that in mind! They especially don't give good fish or small animal advice, in my experience. One positive is that they don't support puppy mills--they only sell rodents and birds, the cats they have are rescues and up for adoption. I have taken my dogs to the vet they have in store, and the service wasn't bad, just *extremely* slow.
