Review content:
I love Yama's traditional style (as opposed to somewhere like Sushi samba) and the pieces are especially on the larger side if you order sashimi. The Chillean Sea bass is an excellent cooked dish there for anyone lookin on the non-raw side of the menu. I enjoyed eating the fancy rolls they have (.....) The best part of my meal is the green tea tempura which is ALWAYS ordered at the end of every meal there for me. It's the perfect combination of sweet pound cake and bitter green tea ice cream and blend of hot and cold. Overall the dining experience always leaves a smile on my face a full belly for the right price. I should note that there are 3 Yama's in NYC and I'd say the most comfy one is on Carmine but the food is arguably better at the Irving location.
