Review content:
I just came back from a group ski trip to mt snow vermont. It's an excellent mtn for all levels of skiing. For those who are tired of the small mtns around the NYmetro area (mountian creek, hunter), take the extra hour or so drive and just head on up to mt snow. First off, it's the closest mtn in vermont to NY and is a relatively big resort. It caters to even international visitors. The trails are long unlike the local NY mountains, you can go down a trail and take your time without having to worry about getting out of someone's way if you were to fall. There basically isn't a crowd anywhere on the mtn. Lifts are highspeed so although you may see a long line down at the bottom, it clears up really quick. Conditions cater to Vermont weather so if it's warm in NYC, it may be snowing up in Vermont which is great for a resort only 4 hours away.
