Flower Fields is the absolute BEST place to get flowers in the central Shenandoah Valley. The owner, Susan, is one of the most helpful and kind people I have met. She is out at the Farmer's Market (in Staunton's Wharf Parking Lot) every Saturday (April-Nov) with her home-grown, vibrant, healthy flowers. She brings both loose flowers and arranged bunches with her as well.
She also sells her flowers from her "Pick Your Own" flower garden. From Staunton, you drive south on Rt. 11 for quite a ways until you near Steele's Tavern. You will see a small sign for "Flower Fields" on the left side of the road. Turn up the driveway to find rows and rows and rows of flowers!
We used flowers from Flower Fields for our wedding (though we had the bridal bouquet and boutineers made at a local florist). For $85, we had more flowers than we knew what to do with. We had beautiful flowers everywhere!!! And they lasted for WEEKS! It was great to come home from the honeymoon to bright flowers all over the house (and neighbors' houses and in-law's house, etc.)!
