I like the food at the Village Inn, they have the standard fare, but the prices are very reasonable. My big beef with the place is the service. I know IC is a college town and so you expect a large number of students to hang out and study as well as work there, but the regular staff is the problem. The moment they drop off your meal, it seems like an invisible clock starts that makes them drop off your check 15 minutes later with a face that indicates "your time is up". Unless you are student or it is late at night, table time is clearly limited there. So do not go there during peak hours or if you plan to sit down for a nice dinner. If you want a quick bite to eat and leave, this place is good. (or if you want to show your backbone and determination and stare back at the staff.).
