Businiess name:  Woody's Diner
Review by:  Meg R.
Review content:
Woody’s is a three-story bar in the heart of Royal Oak. It has its perks and draw-backs, perhaps more of the latter, but it’s a Royal Oak staple and the city wouldn’t be the same without it. During the week – Woody’s is a low-key restaurant, but on the weekends it’s so much more! On any given weekend night, the first floor is the place to be if you want to sit and have dinner with friends. The second floor is the place to be if you like to 1) dance (really close to strangers) 2) wear really tight clothes 3) talk to cheesy people who are all looking to go shack up at the end of the night 4) long bathroom lines full of drunk people. The second floor is also the place for drunk bachelorettes! Woody’s deck in the summer, however, is a different story. It's actually enjoyable and my friends and I go there quite often. You can't beat the view and it's the only bar in Royal Oak that offers a spacious outdoor bar. The outdoor tables are large and perfect for hanging out and talking to friends. At night the Mexican style strung lights add ambiance and a tropical flare. All in all, Woody’s isn’t a bad place, you just have to know what you’re getting into.
