If you are looking for a real canoeing experience, rent a canoe from Pale Whale and paddle your way down the river. Pale Whale takes their customers to certain drop off poins up the river and then the participants paddle themselves at thier own pace back down to the canoe rental.
If canoeing isn't for you, rent a big inner tube and float lazily back down the river. After you have finished your ride down the river, enjoy a bite to eat of some cooling ice cream at their snack bar.
Pale Whale provides life vests for young children and those that would like the security of wearing one. Located in Cook Forest among the beauty, you can't go wrong with a enjoyable day on the river.
