Review content:
Before I tried Coldstone Creamery for the first time, I didn't know what I was missing! When you enter the tiny ice cream parlor located on Main Street, you're immediately greeted by gallon after gallon of ice cream and cup after cup of toppings. A refrigerator case to the side boasts a healthy supply of pre-made ice cream cakes that definitely look good enough to take home for the next night's dessert. Seating is outside and very limited, as the patio space is shared with several other establishments. There's usually a line for service, but as soon as you reach the front, a friendly employee will take your order and even offer samples if you'd like a taste before committing. Depending on the other patrons and because the space is so small, it can sometimes be hard to see all of the available flavors without forcing your way to the front of the glass case, which can be frustrating. You can choose either one of their sundae combinations, or a flavor plus a mix-in. My personal favorite is Cake Batter ice cream mixed with Butterfinger candy bar crumbs - yum! It really does taste like cake, too! Portion sizes are playfully named Like It, Love It, and Gotta Have It, a clever twist on the usual Small, Medium and Large designations. If you toss a tip into the cup on the counter, the employees will treat you (and the other patrons) to a quick melody in thanks. Although a little pricey, I love walking down Main Street now and then with my Coldstone Ice Cream in hand!
