Review content:
This is a wonderful Mom and Pop store (literally!) that sells African Violet houseplants and supplies. They carry everything you could need for happy and gorgeous plants, even lighted plant stands to grow indoors. They also carry a few other types of plants from time to time, such as geseneriads and orchids. The friendly staff will be glad to give you some growing tips. They also offer a mail order catalog.
The owner also sells canaries, which he breeds himself! His collection includes some exotic red-factors too. The males are strong singers, and the females make nice chirpy companions. Pet supplies such as cages, seed and treats are also available. This place is really unique and worth checking out. Note that they are closed Tuesdays and Sundays. There is street parking on Broadway, and a small lot in back.
