Growing up in So-Cal, I got spoiled by really, really good dim sum. Jade Villa doesn't really come close to that. The service is slow and their dim sum doesn't really have much flavor, nor is it very clean. It's definately better than some of the other places I tried in Oakland Chinatown. A lot of their dishes are very greasy...the kinda of grease that tastes old and unchanged. But check it out if you're in the area...and DEFINATELY check out the dim sum in LA if you're ever down there.
