Gil Williams owner of Gils Book Loft was the most obnoxious, ill mannered, mean spirited business owner I and others had the pleasure of experiencing.
You would be in his shop for 2 seconds when he would hound you asking if you were going to buy books and if you said you were just browsing he would tell you to get the hell out of his store and escort you out personally. I don't know how the man stayed in business but I do know that I had friends on Social Security and he knew this and took advantage of them by ordering books for them and calling them to tell them he had books for them, and they spent their entire checks paying for the books he ordered. This always happened at the first of the month with these people until their families got wind of what Gil was doing and forbade these people from going near his bookshop.
He finally closed his store this month and now has an online book selling business.
Beware online book buyers. Try to avoid dealing with him at any cost.
