As an “older” American and a concern for reliability, it was time to do a vehicle upgrade. After searching online, I determined I would need a loan.
A visit to my banker went well and ended up with a “loan commitment letter”.
My plan was to start a comprehensive search, narrow it down to a few vehicles, then do the test drives, etc. I was not looking forward to this ordeal.
Just as I was getting ready to leave the banker said “you should take a look at EAST SIDE AUTO in St Paul Park, MN. . They have pretty good deals, are great to work with. and have a lot of inventory. Talk to Nathan”
That may have been the best single piece of advice I’ve ever received. ??
They have a very large lot, and have a golf cart type vehicle to take you around… this saved a lot of walking! After mentioning to Nathan that I was hoping to get a lower mileage car with 4WD, he said “we have the perfect fit for you coming in… should be just a couple of days”.
I would like to mention here that not only is Nathan very knowledgeable, but also very personable. The vehicle he had described was a perfect fit for my needs. We made a deal (an excellent deal), and he said it would be ready to pick up in a few days. His very able assistant, Kris, put the paperwork together and I was out the door. Stopped at the bank and picked up a check and waited for a call. In a couple of days, the car was ready and another surprise. Without me asking, or any change in price, the car had four brand new tires!! Shock!
I highly recommend East Side Auto, located at 805 Main St, St Paul Park, MN, for great deals and excellent service.
