Review content:
In a field of care where turn over can be high, clients get transferred to new caregivers as often as every month, finding a facility where you feel comfortable, recognized & listened to is an ACHIEVEMENT! No one likes feeling like a number & as unique as a #2 pencil, so I’m glad to relay that the Lawrence location of the CleanSlate franchise is absolutely feeling more friendly with each office visit. My first few appointments left me angry, disgruntled & annoyed that the employees at the Waiting Room were behaving so poorly — not having answers to basic questions; unsmilingly repeating directives without hearing my request for clarification (as per the clinician’s clear instructions to me). But then another month went by and the atmosphere shifted: smiles, polite & helpful responses. (If my initial “complaints” re: inadequate office staff behavior & dissemination of inaccurate info played a role, I’d be slightly disappointed ) but the end result is the same: the staff are consistently pleasant, efficient & I leave feeling that I received treatment geared toward “me” from a facility that will be at the other end of the phoneend of should I need to call.
