Review content:
I bought an open box Honeywell Lyric panel from eBay that naturally arrived at 3PM the Friday before Easter Weekend, and I REALLY wanted to have my holiday weekend off to finally do so something with the dozens of 2gig 345 connectors left by the previous owner of my home. I set up a new AlarmGrid account online with Automatic Activation but the unit didn't seem to be connecting even an hour later, and the account panel said I was still "Pending." I called at 5:30 and begged the support rep to set me up. Despite being near the end of his shift for a holiday weekend with a bunch of other activations, Travis at AlarmGrid heard the (hopefully polite) desperation in my voice and went the extra mile to finish setting my Lyric panel up. (I didn't realize I needed to set the Communication Path to Wifi, and had apparently use the wrong MAC address to boot.) Once my rookie mistakes were fixed, he had my LCP up and ready to go and home ready to secure — even though I bought it somewhere else and was just signing up for self-monitoring. I have a pretty great vibe from this company from the get go. (Thanks again Travis!) Dan B. Durham NC
