WARNING of Predatory Practices – DO NOT USE ServPro
*** If you think the water and/or fire damage you’ve experienced is traumatic, just wait until you’ve experienced working with ServPro. The predatory practices employed by this company cannot be understated. Not only did they submit an invoice to us for $45,000 for water remediation, but their harassment including repeated threats of putting a lien on our house.***
The long and the short of it is:
• When you’re in distress, you’ll “sign” anything -- predators will take advantage of this
• When predators think they can do whatever they want and someone will ultimately pay for it, they will do so
• They will attempt to bring in more machines and do more demolition than is necessary (under the guise of “preventative measures”, that means more $$$ to them – they will rack up as many charges as they think they can get away with
• They will charge you for service they did not perform
• When they play chicken with the insurance company on invoicing *you*will be the one caught in the middle
• They will threaten you with liens, lawsuits and whatever they deem effective instead of working with insurance on a resolution
• Instead of feeling taken care of, you will be left taken advantage of with PTSD about the potential for something similar happening in the future
