I recently sent a pair of Asolo hiking boots to Dave to be completely re-soled. The polyurethane midsoles had degraded and the soles had separated from the boot. A local cobbler here in Reading, Pennsylvania told me they couldn't be repaired and suggested I throw them out. I got Dave's information through the Asolo website.
Dave's email replies to me initially were very prompt and complete and courteous. For a very reasonable price he completely re-soled my boots with beautiful new Vibram soles. For a small extra fee he refinished the leather with Nikwax and gave me new laces. He turned a potential trash heap item into essentially a brand new pair of beautiful hiking boots.
Thanks Dave from Pennsylvania! Highly recommended. I wouldn't send boots to anyone else.
