My husband had so much trauma. I am so thankful to Kindred. He was paralyzed and since he’s been at Kindred, he is weaning off the ventilator and moving his feet and hands. He’s mouthing words and communicating. Every day he makes progress. In the middle of the night, I call to check on him and the nurses tell me how he’s doing. I tell them to tell him I love him. The next day I ask him if the nurses told him I love him, and he says yes. Everyone has been so kind to him and me and my family, from housekeeping to the CEO to the nurses and the respiratory staff. This is an amazing place.
