My husband and I were on our way home from the grocery store and saw a stray dog in the median of a highway. She didn't have a collar so we brought her to Neel to see if shs was chipped. She was. The front office attempted to call the owner and were given multiple numbers by the orginal chip contact. Also note: with each call they told the person on the other end their dog was at Neel. My husband and I waited for as long as we could but, needed to leave. We told the front office and they threw a fit saying "You can't just wait a few more minutes?!?" No... we can't. We have waited longer than we should have. Their recommendation/solution was to take the dog to a kill shelter. We didn't. We have multiple rescues and will never leave a dog at a kill shelter. Instead, we left the dog at Neel in hopes the owner was on their way. Bottom line: They would rather you take a dog to a kill shelter than take care of it for an hour-ish. Some Vet.... Avoid this place at all costs!!!!
