Businiess name:  HOA Community Management

Review content:
Beware. Beware Beware. There are hundreds of online review postings on other websites, such as Google and Yelp. See for yourself; good reviews - not so much. Do yourself a favor. Do not buy a home in any community that contracts with HOA Community Management. All the many, many bad reviews cannot be from residents with a vendetta who received a reprimand. Some of the online reviews are quite alarming. And, if you are shopping for a replacement management company for your community, keep looking. You will not find compassionate, ethical, professional services here. Even owner Charlene Rice's own community's (River Walk Simpsonville) homeowners association does not use her. Her job description for her property managers, today viewed on their website, does not include any educational requirements. Rice is loose-lipped. She has told residents in our community about one another, the most personal information. Rice has also talked openly about former and current employees, revealing work habits, potential for promotion and reasons for dismissal. Her employees would be shocked to hear what she says about them. Rice typically handles even mild conflict by threatening to sue, by bullying or by contacting the police or an attorney. She is a know-it-all who makes sometimes faulty judgments on the spot, as opposed to saying, "I am not sure about that. I will research it and get back to you." The Rices' best bet is to sell this business. And, in the mean time, Charlene Rice should not interact with community board members nor residents. This is what reviews are for, Ms. Rice.
