Review content:
I took a chance on this place because everywhere else was closed; this was the only place with any availabilities. I had been warned by a few friends and knew of their 2 star rating, but I had a date that evening and felt like I had no other choice. This place sent red flags up as soon as I walked in. Since my mother is a business owner and affiliated with BBB, I know of several state policies for nail salons that were broken. Since I was desperate I tried to look over them. I later found out about hidden charges, and the person who did my nails blatantly lied to me by saying a full set is only $20 when they really charge $35. I was told over the phone my nails would be $20, and he said that no one told me that. I said okay, even though some one did in fact tell me that, because I didn't want him to lose money over someone elses mistake. As I was walking out, I noticed a price menu that listed a full set as $20. I told him about this, to which he replied "Oh." He said he had to use the bathroom and would be right back, so I sat and waited. After 20 mintues I was told he went home. He cut me while he did my nails, so now I have a sore on my finger. My nails also look awful and are covered in glue. He tried to rush the manicure so the polish looks ridiculous; I could do better. The nail on my right forefinger fell off within two days.
