?We will NEVER use Willow Wood Pet Resort again. We got an email about the confirmed case of canine flu, that's it - no phone call, no voice message - an email!!! We called immediately and were informed that we had nothing to be worried about and that our two dogs were "doing fine". We decided to not chance it and pick them up as soon as they opened on Friday morning....When we picked them up, both of our pups were coughing and we were told that one of them had been throwing up. As we were taking the dogs out, they allowed two people to drop off their pets for "day stay". ARE YOU KIDDING ME? THIS IS THE DEFINITION OF IRRESPONSIBLE! Immediate vet visit to get antibiotics for the Kennel Cough and coughing meds in hopes that it's not the flu. However, one of ours is now so sick that we may need to hospitalize her as she's stopped eating and drinking. No worries for Willow Wood though, "we don't cover that" is their response. Wrong answer Willow Wood.. Highly recommend that if you love your pets as we do that you steer clear of this terrible pet resort. All they care about is making money, not your pets!
