A lovely, welcoming and nurturing trip back to the simplicity (although ornate) of the Victorian Era. The rooms are spacious, clean, filled with beautiful antiques and the modern amenity of a large jacuzzi tub in each bathroom. The owners, Jim and Sandy, are are friendly and do their best to make your experience restful and special. The continental breakfast is excellent - offering choices for all dietary preferences. I liked that I could come downstairs any time of night- perhaps to take advantage of the 24 hour chocolate bar- to find lights on in all the public rooms. It feels more like "home" than a hotel.
