Ok so went in for my 8AM cleaning + X-rays and by 8:30 Dr Michaels was in to tell me the news about needing a crown - nothing urgent but within the next 6 months would be fine- I said well do you want to start the crown prep today - Dr Michaels says be right back - let me check - and informs me they now offer SAME-DAY crowns - what???? Same day crowns? How is that possible?
So --- next thing you know Dannielle does the digitizing and modeling on CAD (computer aided design) of my tooth base and the mating teeth - I go home for about 1 hour and I am back at 11:30 AM
At 10 minutes after Noon today I left Dr Michaels with a really great permanent crown ----- How cool is that !!! And no temporary crown to mess with and no waiting a week to see how it will look and feel - SAME-Day crowns are for real and take it from someone who has had a lot more crowns than I would like to admit - nobody does it better than Dr Michaels and his team - one more thing be sure to ask about seeing the really cool CAD-CAM machine and curing oven, right there in the lab that are used to complete your tooth on site in about 1 hour flat - thank you Dr Michaels and may Our Lord continue to bless your work and the people there at the center
